Most of us hate having our photo taken. The trick isn't a better smile — it's a photographer who knows how to make the camera disappear for an hour. These sessions are calm, conversational, and produce images you'll actually use.
Who books a portrait session
Actors and musicians needing a headshot refresh, founders building a personal brand, professionals updating LinkedIn beyond the bathroom selfie, and people marking a moment — turning forty, finishing a PhD, recovering from a hard year. Adelaide-based, but I travel for the right brief.
Studio or on location
I shoot in a controlled-light studio in the city, on the streets of the West End and North Adelaide for editorial work, and along the coast at Henley and Semaphore when you want sea air in frame. We choose together based on the feeling you're after, not what's convenient.
